Reception Applications
Your child's learning journey starts here...
There are 30 places available in Reception to Year 6 (1 form entry). All children start our Reception class in the September of the academic year in which they reach five years of age. They continue at Knights Primary until the end of Year 6.
Children qualify for admission to our Reception class in September 2026 if they were born between 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022.
Apply for a place at Knights Primary School
To make a Reception application to Knights Primary please go to www.eadmissions.org.uk which is the online application portal run by the Local Authority to which you pay your council tax to, therefore if you live outside Lewisham, you need to apply via your Local Authority. The portal opens for applications from 1st September 2024 and the closing date for Reception applications is 15th January 2025.

Admission Appeals Process
Parents have the right to appeal under The Education Act to an independent appeal panel against the decision not to offer your child a place at the school.

Should you wish to appeal then you will need to complete a Local Authority appeal form which can be found here.
You will also need to complete our in-house appeal form which can be downloaded here.
Completed Local Authority Forms are then submitted to Lewisham
