Junior Leadership

Growing young leaders is one of our core priorities at Knights Primary. We offer many ways for children to take on roles of responsibility. This provides the opportunity to develop as confident communicators, understand the role of democracy in modern Britain and to be a voice for change in our school and Trust.

House System

Every child at Knights Primary is a member of a House. The house system encourages team building, joint responsibility and aspiration. The House Captains and School Council are working together this term to agree the house point system and create a programme of activities that encourage competition between the Houses.

In October, the Junior Leadership team led the Harvest Festival celebrations. The children organised a collection of donations of tinned and packaged food. The children made Harvest Hampers to donate to the elderly in our local community and members of the congregation of St. Luke's Church. Reverend Nick joined us for the special assembly which focused on gratitude and giving. Members of school council wrote and performed acrostic poems.
