Get Involved

We value the contribution parents and carers can make by getting involved in school life. Volunteering in school is also one of the best ways of learning how you can effectively support your child's learning.

Here are some of the ways you can get involved and support the children in school:

Reading Volunteers

Hearing readers at the start or end of the school day is a great way of helping children develop this vital skill. Reading opens the doors to all other areas of learning.

Forest School

Our classes regularly visit Forest School in Downham. This is a great opportunity to volunteer and support pupils learning and social, emotional development in an outdoor environment.

Trips and Visits

Adult support with planned trips and visits is always required. Please speak to your child's class teacher to be added to a list of volunteers they can contact to request support with forthcoming trips.

Classroom Volunteers

Speak to Mr Allmark if you have some time that you can give on a regular basis to support learning in the classroom.  All regular volunteers will be DBS checked.

PTA

This year, we are excited to be relaunching our PTA. This is a chance for parents and friends of the school to contribute to arranging enrichment activities community events and fundraisers. we will be inviting volunteers to come along to a launch meeting in Autumn term.
