We are delighted that Knights Primary was rated a 'Good' school by Ofsted in January 2024.
Key strengths highlighted:
- The report commends our school for offering a broad and rich curriculum that reflects the national curriculum and exposes pupils to a range of texts, books, cultural events, and enrichment opportunities.
- It also praises our school for identifying and helping pupils who may require additional support, especially those with SEND
- The report recognises that our school fosters pupils' character, values, and mutual respect, and has improved pupils' attendance significantly
- The report also acknowledges our school's professional and collaborative staff, who value staff training and career development
Knights Primary was rated 'Good' in all areas in its latest inspection by Ofsted on 5 and 6 December 2023. The full report will be available on the Ofsted website soon - we will add a link to this here when this is live.
The inspectors found that:
Pupils enjoy learning here because teachers are creative and make learning interesting. Pupils speak enthusiastically about the things they know and the cultural events they experience. They are friendly, polite and kind towards each other.
Pupils value the opportunities to take on responsibilities. They are proud to contribute to the life of the school as house, French and eco captains The school provides a range of enrichment opportunities that develop pupils talents and interests. Staff encourage pupils to develop high aspirations for themselves and their futures f or instance through school initiatives such as the 'Brilliant Club' and 'Advantage' programme. Pupils get to visit prestigious universities to broaden their future options.
Working relationships between pupils and staff are respectful . Adults consistently encourage pupils to be 'ready for learning' . Pupils respond positively to this expectation They demonstrate enthusiastic attitudes to learning.
