Sports and PE Premium
Schools receive Sports and PE Premium based on the number of pupils in Years 1 to 6.
The premium is aimed at encouraging the development of healthy, active lifestyles through sustainable improvements to the provision of sport and PE.
This means that schools must use the premium to:
- Develop or add to the PE and sport activities that the school already offers
- Make improvements that will benefit pupils joining the school in future years
How have we spent the money?
-
Employing a sports coach to support curriculum delivery and the development of teacher subject knowledge
- Deliver enrichment clubs to expand the opportunities for pupils to engage in a range of sports
- Improve sports equipment to deliver a wider range of sporting disciplines
- Developing our playgrounds to encourage active playtimes
- Participate in Trust competitions
Planned spend 2026/2027
The Sports and PE Premium funding allocation for this year is £17 792.00
We will use this money to ensure that all pupils, regardless of their sporting ability benefit from the following:
- investing in a new PE curriculum
- regular physical activity to kick-start healthy lifestyles
- high quality weekly lessons delivered by specialists and staff with increased confidence, knowledge and skills
- a broad range of sports and activities through the taught curriculum and enrichment offer
